Veterinary Science

Hi! My name is Brynn Belingheri, and I am a Sophomore at the 91·çÃùÄñ³ª, working toward my bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science. This is my first year as an Agriculture, Veterinary & Rangeland Sciences (AVRS) Student Ambassador, and I am super excited to connect with future and current AVRS students, helping them learn more about their community and ways to get involved. Apart from being an AVRS Ambassador, I am also a member of the Range Club and the Pre-Vet club here at UNR, where I get to learn more about the things I'm most passionate about. Outside of school, I love doing all things outdoors and adventurous! Skiing, hiking, and running are some of my favorites. I can't wait to see all the amazing things and people this year will bring!

Luna Cannon

Veterinary Science

Hello, my name is Luna Cannon and I am a second-year student at the 91·çÃùÄñ³ª. I am studying Veterinary Science with a dual minor in chemistry and business. I am on track to graduate a year early, and I hope to pursue a career in mixed practice, including livestock and companion animals. I am from Las Vegas, Nevada, so I have a strong preference for the heat. I love spending time outside exploring as many new places as possible.

Animal & Rangeland Sciences

Hey! My name is Zianna and I'm an undergraduate in my second year at the 91·çÃùÄñ³ª. I'm in the NevadaTeach program dual majoring in agricultural science and secondary education. With my degrees, my dream is to pursue a career as an agriculture teacher and FFA advisor. I feel it is my duty and honor to be a part of helping change and preserve the future of agriculture. I hope to inspire and encourage high school students to learn about the importance of giving back to their community and to show them how rewarding it is. Apart from being an Agriculture, Veterinary & Rangeland Sciences ambassador, I am also an active member of the Society of Rangeland Management organization at the University. I am grateful for the opportunities given to me to network and work with amazing people. I can't wait for a year of new memories!

Caitlyn Dock

Rangeland Ecology & Management

Hello! My name is Caitlyn Dock, and I am an undergraduate student studying Rangeland Ecology and Management. This is my first year at the 91·çÃùÄñ³ª, after I transferred from Western Nevada College – Fallon Campus. The opportunity to be part of the Agriculture, Veterinary & Rangeland Sciences Ambassador Team will allow me to do what I love —advocate for the industry that has built me. Previously serving as the 2024-2025 Nevada FFA State President, it opened my eyes to how much impact you can have on others' lives just by sharing experiences and building strong connections. Now stepping into this new leadership position and chapter of my life, I can take my passion and apply it to something bigger. I am excited to see what this year brings and look forward to meeting future students who want to make an impact in the agriculture industry and their communities!

Kylie Hopkins

Rangeland Ecology & Management

Hi there, my name is Kylie Hopkins. As a junior at the 91·çÃùÄñ³ª, I am pursuing a degree in Rangeland Ecology and Management with a minor in Environmental Science. It has been an honor to connect with fellow students and community professionals as a college ambassador and active member of the student chapter of the Society for Range Management. I also have the opportunity to work in the Stringham Rangeland Ecology Lab, where I am gaining experience in ecological research and landscape management planning across the West. I am going to earn a GIS certificate and will practice remote sensing analysis to understand ecosystem dynamics. I look forward to continuing to build experiences and a supportive network that contributes to sustainable land management for animals, the environment, and people.

Hi! My name is Alexis Martin, and I am a student at the 91·çÃùÄñ³ª, dual majoring in Agriculture and Economics. This is my second year serving as an Agriculture, Veterinary & Rangeland Sciences Ambassador, and I am excited to continue connecting with prospective students and sharing my passion for agriculture and natural resources. I am also a member of the UNR Range Club, the UNR Equestrian Team, and the Winter Sports Club, which allows me to engage with peers who share my interests in land management, horsemanship, conservation, and outdoor recreation. Outside of academics, I have a strong passion for horses and enjoy learning more about the equine industry. I also love staying active through sports and spending time outdoors. Whether I'm riding, playing sports, or enjoying Nevada's beautiful landscapes, I value opportunities to stay involved and connect with others who share similar interests. I look forward to helping future students!
