** Applicants for Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) licenses in Alaska, Iowa, Nebraska, and Oregon must have completed a COAMFTE-accredited program. Nevada's Counselor Education Program is accredited by CACREP. The state boards may grant MFT licenses to graduates of non-COAMFTE programs on a case-by-case basis. Please contact the appropriate board if you plan to seek an MFT license in any of these states.
