Civil and environmental engineering Associate Professor David Hanigan was inducted into the University of Missouri Civil and Environmental Engineering Academy of Distinguished Alumni at a Sept. 11 ceremony. Hanigan joined the 91·çÃùÄñ³ª in 2016 as an assistant professor and was promoted to associate professor in 2022. His lab focuses on environmental organic and inorganic chemistry and process-based water treatment, and he is affiliated with the 91·çÃùÄñ³ª’s Nevada Water Innovation Institute and the Tahoe Institute for Global Sustainability.
