Summary
Since 2020, Meghan Powers has worked closely with adolescent surveillance data, examining health trends and priority populations, including sexual and gender minority youth, rural youth and youth involved in the juvenile justice system. The majority of her work has focused on adverse childhood experiences (ACEs). She has been interested in how ACEs can be prevented or mitigated through social determinants of health (SDoH) and positive childhood experiences (PCEs).
