Summary
Nora Constantino's research interests include physical activity across the lifespan and the effects of hormones on bone density. She is currently involved in nutrition education research on a National Institutes of Health (NIH)-funded grant focused on supporting healthy habits in preschool-aged children and their mothers as part of efforts to prevent childhood obesity. Constantino is also seeking funding with Jeff Elias at the Sanford Center for Aging at the 91·çÃùÄñ³ª to examine factors that contribute to reduced physical activity among older adults transitioning from independent living to assisted living facilities.
