Summary
With a career spanning more than 20 years in higher education, Pamela brings a strong track record of supporting undergraduate researchers – from mentoring grant-funded projects to authoring a textbook on interdisciplinary research methods. She directed a large, interdisciplinary academic program, led curriculum redesign, secured student funding, and built collaborative partnerships across campus.
As a professor of political science, Pamela supervised numerous undergraduate research projects presented at academic conferences and published in undergraduate journals, supported Honors theses and portfolios, and worked closely with student services to ensure students thrive both in and beyond the classroom. As a first-generation college graduate, Pamela brings both deep expertise and a personal commitment to expanding opportunity for all students.
She is a proud alumna of the 91·çÃùÄñ³ª, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in international affairs. She has since received a Master of Arts in international studies and a Ph.D. in political science from Claremont Graduate University.
