Spring 2027 application open Aug. 1-Sept. 7

Ready to make an impact in communities across Nevada and beyond? Apply to the Accelerated BSN Spring 2027 cohort between Aug. 1 and Sept. 7, 2026. Students can choose to complete the program on the main campus in Reno or at the Lake Tahoe campus, where the focus is on preparing nurses to serve rural and mountain communities. The Orvis School of Nursing at the 91·çÃùÄñ³ª, prepares registered nurses, advanced practice registered nurses, nurse leaders and nurse educators to transform health outcomes and advance the profession. As Nevada’s oldest nursing school and a leader in online and in-person nursing education, Orvis provides pathways for every stage of a nursing career—from a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) to advanced graduate degrees (MSN and DNP) and post-master’s certificates.

Primary and acute care

Programs such as Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP), and Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (PACNP) prepare nurses to lead and provide expert care across age groups and care settings.

Our Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) program prepares nurses to support mental wellness in diverse communities, a critical area in healthcare today.
