Political Science or International Affairs majors who need advising during the summer should contact a College Advisor at the College of Liberal Arts Student Center.
Planning and flexibility are key to success. New political science majors should schedule an advising appointment with a department advisor. A packet of information for new majors is available at the , Room 221.
Advisors help students plan their curriculum and provide information on courses and department opportunities. All incoming freshmen and sophomores should meet with an undergraduate advisor for initial advisement.
There are two types of academic advisors in the College of Liberal Arts: College Advisors and Faculty Advisors. Both types of advisors can assist you with your academic progress in different ways and you are able to meet with both types of advisors.
