Regional Alliance of INBRE Networks (RAIN) Undergraduate Research Exchange Opportunity
The was formed to support regional collaborations focused on common scientific themes. Opportunities exist for undergraduate students from the region to participate in transformative research experiences in the RAIN states. Individual INBRE programs within RAIN host expertise-specific student programs, such as lab internships, workshops and summer camps.

Students from RAIN states (Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, and Wyoming) interested in working in Nevada may apply for a RAIN Undergraduate Research Exchange Opportunity (UROP) at the 91·çÃùÄñ³ª or the University of Nevada, Las Vegas through our UROP page.
The Nevada INBRE program is offering a 10-week fellowship for students interested in biomedical research. In addition to doing guided research, students will attend training and seminar presentations and attend an annual summer research symposium to present their work in a professional setting.
Nevada RAIN Undergraduate Research Exchange Opportunity awards pay up to $7,200. This award is paid out as a summer student worker salary, and participating mentors will receive $1,000 to defray the cost of lab supplies.

Acceptance of this award may impact a student's income level to a degree that could affect eligibility for student loans, and other scholarship/fellowship opportunities.
